The security of your home and the neighborhood is one of the most important tasks of the Board and the Canyons takes an active role in controlling gate access.
Deliveries should call the owner through the call box at the gate and the owner must permit access. If your name or number requires updating on the call box, you submit a help case at www.assurednv.com/help-case with your name and phone number and the display will be updated.
The means of access to the community are: 1) gate call box - visitors call the resident and they are granted access by the owner via phone; 2) nimbio app: resident can issue digital keys and open gate from their mobile device; 3) headlight transponder - placed on resident vehicles for automatic gate opening on arrival to community.
Gate Codes
Your invited guests must be given access to the community by you as entry codes posed a safety risk and do not afford for adequate monitoring and security. Code that were issued to residents were written on the box for anyone to access the community. Codes were also published in open source locations such as MLS for realtors and other unauthorized people to obtain. These methods completely diminish the capacity of having a gated community. Any contracted vendors (such as Republic Services, Las Vegas Review Journal, NV Energy) are given Nimbo gate access by the Assocation so they are monitored and tracked.

Nimbio is a powerful app that can allow for access to the community by owners and guests.
The first step is to download the Nimbio app from your App Store, enter your name and when prompted, type in "Canyon Community Association" in the community search and select "Canyon Community Association" as your community.
Once they do that, you will get a notification on your phone that someone is requesting a key, and you can log in to the admin portal to approve them.
Alternatively, you can share keys through your Nimbio app. Shared keys are different from master keys - any key you share will be tracked and recorded in the "History" tab of your app.
Once you register you telephone number, activation can take up to two business days to complete. Once activated, you will see the Canyon Community Association appear for access in your app.
Only ONE USER can be activated per home as the initial user. Once this user is active, you can assign rights to other users. Please only register one owner/resident on your initial set up.
